Before we close out our week in the town of Catskill, we wanted to find one more affordable property that needs only a little work to snazz it up. This one looks to be a fine candidate with hardwood floors, a big kitchen, three wood stoves, an elusive fourth bedroom, and a lot that’s nearly a half-acre in size, parked right in a residential neighbor and back off the road.
The glaringly obvious aspect of this house that could use an update is the multi-color theme both inside and out. The kitchen and baths might need some improvements, as well. And, it’s larger than it looks from the exterior with nearly 2500 square feet of space, plus an extra half-bath, full basement, and back deck. Get ready to beautiful that big yard.
Situated on the west edge of Catskill village. Cross the bridge over the Catskill Creek, and there’s Main Street. Takes about 10 minutes to walk there or about a minute by car.
