California Dreamin’ in Dutchess Co., $349,900
Kandy Harris | March 4, 2015Important question: Yea or nay on wood paneling? Most of the time, we lean toward no, because most wood paneling we see is ugly particle board with fake wood grain and…well, yuck. However, the wood paneling contained within in this c.1962 raised Ranch looks like the real deal (note that we said “looks“). And paired with the large stone wall, it sure does hit the spot. The whole property looks so much like it transported here from 1960s L.A. that we half-expected to see Cindy Brady come skipping out the front door. Not enough grooviness for you? Includes a rumpus room with bar, game room, pool, and cabana. The two-car detached garage appears to have an addition room/office/living space above it. To quote the great Greg Brady, it’s far out in a really happening way.
