Car-Free Country House: Cold Spring Craftsman, $349,000

  |  July 3, 2012

It’s rough to find something affordable in the village of Cold Spring (Putnam County), so we jumped all over this Craftsman for a semi-reasonable (relatively speaking) price. Not only is it cute, it’s less than a mile from the Metro North train station. And that means it’s also less than a mile from the Hudson River. It’s walking distance to everything in the village, and although the lot size is small, it abuts a big old stretch of open space. It’s got a nice front porch and a back deck, too.
