When we first looked at this 8-bedroom farmhouse in the hamlet of Pine Hill (Ulster County), it was over $300,000. That was last week. A lot can change in just seven days, apparently, and the price has since dropped by $20,000. Now it’s even more appealing. Walking-distance to Pine Hill, the farmhouse sits on nearly 3 acres and is five minutes away from Belleayre Ski Resort. Plus, the Trailways bus station is only a mile-and-a-half away, and two restaurants are close by: The Pine Hill Arms and the Colonial Inn. Property is bisected by a stream. We especially like the solarium dining room and the big deck looking out on the pine trees. Looks like it would make a pretty upstate retreat that’s still close to civilization (or, with 8 bedrooms and 4 baths, it could be your new B&B).
