Car-Free Country House: Woodstock Dutch Colonial, $265,000
Kandy Harris | May 1, 2013There’s just something about the interior of this Dutch Colonial right in the village of Woodstock. Maybe it’s the interesting little touches everywhere: Exposed white-washed brick, the just-shabby-enough fireplace, the staircase with knotty wainscoting, the bathroom with the huge tub and glass block, and the giant picture window in the living room. The reasonable price doesn’t hurt, either, nor does the prime location, just steps from everything in Woodstock, including the Trailways bus station. We definitely got some “let’s make an offer” twitches in our brains, and we thought we were completely desensitized to those feelings these days. House is a good size, nearly 3,000 square feet, but the lot size isn’t much bigger than that.
