ICYMI: Catskills NY Fall Foliage is Coming
Kandy Harris | September 20, 2017It’s true. The further up north you go, the more leaves you’ll see in a state of bold autumn colors. Catskills NY fall foliage is headed to a tree near you.
Even more so if you’re in the Adirondacks, according to newyorkupstate.com. They reported that the ‘Dacks are around 40% color-change, and the Catskill Mountains to the east are not far behind. Newyorkupstate.com reports that Belleayre Mountain, Ulster County, is at 20 to 25% color change. “Expect 15 to 20 percent in Sullivan and Delaware counties.”
Meanwhile, the rest of the state is around 10%. What’s it like where you are? Here’s what it looks like it my neck of the woods, right this very second. Note the hidden and not-so-hidden signs that autumn is on the wing:
