Not Fake News: CNN.com gives a nod to the Catskills’ “big vacation revival” and offers tips on where to stay and eat while you’re visiting.
For those of us who have lived here for a while, the “revival” has been a slow process unfolding over the course of two decades, back when people still scratched their heads when you mentioned places like Bovina Center and Phoenicia, and the Orpheum movie theater in Saugerties village was an…ahem…adult destination. CNN suggests visitors stay at some boutique hotels and inns like the Deer Mountain Inn in Tannserville, The Graham & Co. in Phoenicia, and Woodstock Way in Woodstock village.
