What Would You Do with These Commercial Geo-Domes in Kingston?
Kandy Harris | August 14, 2017Take a drive on the I-87 Thruway and get off at Exit 19, the Kingston exit. Take the turn for Route 28 heading west, and no doubt you will catch a glimpse of these gleaming white orbs, looking space-age-y as can be. The two domes are on the market listing for $745K.
Zoned and located for commercial use, these connected, 3,496-square-foot geodesic domes feature 22-foot ceilings and wood panelling made with FSC- and SFI-certified lumber and R60 EcoBatts recycled insulation which does not contain phenol, formaldehyde, acrylics, or artificial colors. Property taxes last year were $3298, which is likely when the property was just land, so it might be assessed at a higher value later (not that we love being the bearer of bad news). The listing states that the space would lend itself well to hydroponics…and we’ll just leave it at that.
The woodwork inside of the domes is a sight to behold, so keep scrolling for interior shots. Looks like lots of work is still needed to be done here, but what cool property to use as a business. What would you do with two geo domes in Kingston?
