Cooperstown Craftsman, $450,000
Kandy Harris | January 18, 2013The listing for this Craftsman certainly doesn’t skimp on the effusiveness by stating that it’s located “On One of The Most Desireable (sic) Streets In America’s Most Perfect Village.” Having not been to every village in American, we cannot confirm if this is an accurate description. However, Nelson Avenue in Cooperstown is a nice, tree-lined residential area, and 25 Nelson Avenue is definitely a Car-Free Country House contender, since it’s located just a few minutes from the Trailways bus station. It’s also just down the block from the Baseball Hall of Fame and across the street from Blackbird Bay.
We adore the bright, clean, unfussy interior and neat-as-a-pin (if tiny) yard, complete with a fire pit and some nifty stone work on the patio, walkways, and walls. Definitely one of our favorites we’ve seen in Cooperstown this week.
