Upstater | April 19, 2012We came across this cool property last year: an 18th century post-and-beam farmhouse for rent by the night, weekend or week. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
One note: you’re renting half the barn. The family that owns it uses the other half as their country house, and may or may not be around.

$150/weeknight
$500/weekend
$950/week (7 nights)

- 2 Story “mother/daughter” section of large Barnhouse (totally private!)
- Two Bedrooms with Queen beds
- Separate Kids Room/Nursery with toys, video monitor, books, etc.
- Two full Bathrooms (one with jacuzzi tub)
- Full kitchen (high chair provided)
- Dining area
- Lounge area/upstairs bedroom with cathedral ceilings which includes cable TV/DVD/VCR player, and cozy firestove-WiFi
- Private Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis (therapeutic/holistic movement method that combines principles of yoga, tai chi, swimming, physical therapy and dance) lessons available
