Is it just us or does this home look like it belongs in Montauk? I guess the Catskills really are “the New Hamptons.” This Hudson River home in Saugerties, more specifically the hamlet of Malden on Hudson, really takes our breath away.

Grab your boat shoes and your blue and white striped polo because the inside of this home has a nautical vibe.  We can’t quite place our finger on why but it feels like we’re looking at the inside of a yacht! Perhaps it’s the cherry wood beams that form a grid pattern on the ceiling or the floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the water. Regardless, we could get used to living here!

This massive 5 bed, 6 bath nautical home was built in 2014 so it couldn’t be more modern. It has central air, radiant heat, and a tankless water heater. There is a restaurant quality double oven for all you kitchen admirers out there and an electric awning on the deck for shade. Shall we go on? The master bathroom has a bathtub you could get lost in and a Mr. Steam shower. There is an irrigation system outside for those of you with green thumbs and let’t not forget to mention the boat garage and boathouse. Imagine summers on the water with the wind in your hair and a cold beer in hand. What else could you ever want?

Strap on your life vest and head on over to this beauty on the river. She costs a pretty penny but you will surely get your money’s worth.
