Let’s Weekend in a Vintage 1950s Camping Trailer
Kandy Harris | January 30, 2015It’s neither cottage nor cabin, but this 1953 Spartanette Trailer definitely constitutes as “retro.” Located on a farm in the Sullivan County town of Woodridge, the trailer sits on 12 acres and includes a pond, fire pit, greenhouse, veggie garden, nearby hiking trails, and oodles of adorable angora rabbits (one of the owners has an angora fiber studio and boutique on premises) and happy goats. There’s even Wi-Fi on premises, which guests can access outside of the main house. Trailer sleeps 4 guests in 2 twin beds and 1 full bed. Definitely putting this one on our summertime glamping wish-list. Min. 2 night stay. Rates are $125/night.
