Little Brick Home in Newburgh $34,200

  |  September 10, 2012

If you can’t yet buy your dream home, check out this little home at 80 Clinton St Newburgh. The listing gives exactly four pictures which don’t help you envision much other than a total gut of the kitchen and probably bathroom. But the brick wall is pretty interesting. And the price, it’s $34,200 and been on the market about a month. Around the corner from this little home is the Newburgh Historical Society, two different bed and breakfasts and the school which has grades pre-k through 5th. Clinton Street is a small street with a few homes but, you might want to stop by and see what the empty/burned out property out front is looking like these days. The property to the right hits right up against the home. However, you would be on the same block as this home and other grand homes that are very similar.

You would have to go to the ARC to find out what exterior upgrades could be made. But you can look up the restored row homes of Philadelphia for ideas. They are very similar in style. Window boxes and shutters would make a huge difference.
