About Jessica McGuirl
My name is Jessica McGuirl and I'm the artist behind First Pancake Studio! I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. I’m most inspired by what I’m reading, food I’m cooking, vintage patterns and Japanese culture. I lived in Japan for six months and it had a huge impact on me and my work. I met amazing people, ate delicious food and saw beautiful things. Currently, I spend my days in my Providence, RI studio creating art that is cute, funky and fresh with a sense of humor. I love biking with my husband and going on long walks with our new pup, trying out new recipes and sewing.
