Mountain-Framed Farmhouse in West Kill, $239,000
Kandy Harris | August 31, 2015One could do worse than stepping out of one’s door and discovering this mountain vista:
Green though it may be here, soon the mountain will be blanketed in fall colors, which must be quite a sight to behold. The 2096 sq.ft. farmhouse itself was built in 1850 but contains an elegant, updated interior with a brick fireplace, hardwood floors, subway-tiled kitchen with stainless appliances, and a Florida sunroom/breakfast nook off the kitchen. We are really loving the price on this one (thanks, far western Greene County/almost Delaware County!) given the size of the house, the pristineness of the interior, and the fact that the lot is nearly an acre in size. That mountain view is the icing on our Catskills cake.
