Two Years Later: Newburgh Craftsman with Remodeled Interior, $249K

  |  April 25, 2018

If this Newburgh Craftsman looks familiar, that’s because we posted about it back in 2016…

Back then, it listed for $219K. It’s back on the market with a virtually unchanged exterior. But wait until you see the inside now.

Here’s a picture of what the living room looked like in the 2016 listing:

And, the kitchen:

You get the general idea. Now that we have a point of reference, let’s see what the three-bedroom home looks like in 2018:

The 2,178-square foot interior features an fresh and warm look, with just a touch of drama in the form of dark wood accents. Living room, kitchen, and dining room flow together, punctuated by double French doors.

Oh, you like that built-in china hutch in the dining room? You’re going to love it more once you see this:

It’s a double-sided hutch with glass doors through which you can see the kitchen. We are in love with this detail.

Also includes an updated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and tile backsplash.

On the second floor, there are two bedrooms plus a full bath. The master suite is a new addition to the first floor and is currently set up as an entertainment room.

As for the updates you can’t see, they include central A/C, electric, plumbing, boiler, water heater, and roof. This is basically a brand-new house.

While the lot size is small, there are plenty of places to enjoy the outside, like the big front porch and the back patio. You can also take a stroll across the street to Downing Park in Newburgh city, where the local Farmers Market sets up shop on weekends.
