House description:
Let’s see, how did the NY Times wind up highlighting this particular delightful little cabin out of all the delightful little cabins in the Catskills?
Could it be:
a) The incredible panoramic views from every window
b) The hosts’ superior attention to detail
c) The rental’s location near Kaaterskill Falls, Woodstock, and Rhinebeck
Or
d) All of the above
Previous guests would agree – in the case of this Airbnb rental, it’s “All of the above,” and at $175/night, there is no reason to miss out on a weekend at our resident celebrity cabin! Of course, what is a celebrity without their creative team? Nick and Patrick have a keen eye for detail, which is reflected in their refurbished 1930s cabin as well as the artistically inclined duo’s approach to hosting. In addition to a list of places to visit in the area, Nick and Patrick have been known to welcome guests with freshly laundered bathrobes, tea candles, take-out menus, and of course, some of that good, old-fashioned Netflix access.
Sample reviews:
“We stayed at Nick’s place for a few days after getting married in New York City, it was absolutely perfect and exactly as you see in the pictures. It was a quick 2.5 hour drive from the NYC and the hiking trails and scenery surrounding the cabin were beautiful.
Nick was great to communicate with and responded very quickly. We have very happy memories of this place and we would definitely go back again. Thanks Nick!”
“Just as the others have said, Nick’s cabin makes for a perfect weekend getaway from the city. Tucked into a woodsy cliffside, this little house is just the right size for a coupley retreat, and its picture window and expert decorating make for a tranquil, romantic stay. The kitchen includes all the utensils you’ll need to cook the groceries you’ve brought along, the closets and shelves are stocked with books and games, and the TV is even complete with a dongle for connecting your MacBook — but if you’re like us, you’ll spend most of your time ogling the mountains. Thoughtful touches are everywhere: a local hiking guide, a large package of tea candles, a list of recommended restaurants and attractions. And best of all, Nick himself is a wonderfully accommodating host, a friendly and communicative guy who ensured our stay went off without a hitch. Highly recommended!”
