Port Ewen Village Colonial, $87,500
Kandy Harris | July 10, 2015Port Ewen is a small village just south of downtown Kingston on the other side of the Rondout Creek. It sits directly on the Hudson River, and there are a couple of good places to have a walk, stretch the legs, and soak up a little nature. Lighthouse Park is one such place. It’s not a long trail (<1 mile) but there are views of the Esopus Meadow Lighthouse as well as bird-watching opportunities and a picnic area on the water. There’s also a small beachfront park a short walk from this 2-story Colonial on Broadway in Port Ewen. The house itself has a small fenced-in yard with a detached one-car garage, and a turn-key, 1320-sq.ft. interior. Definitely solid starter-home material with the river and creek nearby, plus the Rondout Bridge which takes you right to Kingston’s Rondout District. Might be a bit of a hike on foot at just over a mile but completely doable by bike.
152 Broadway, Port Ewen (Winn Morrison)
