What Could You Do with this Quirky Bunker in Beacon? Find Out for $85,000

Quirky, and “cozy,” too, at just over 700 sq. ft. in size. And narrow maybe? Have to admit, we’re scratching our heads a little over the layout. However, if you’re savvy and want to transform this space into a cool little bungalow just outside Beacon city’s main drag, there’s potential. Includes a full basement, which helps add space to the 2 bed/1 bath incipient Tiny House. Now, imagine it minus a couple of interior walls and some artful landscaping around the .08 acre yard. Not too shabby.
We almost went with this cheapie in Beacon, instead, which is much bigger both inside and out. Ultimately, we chose this one based on location alone. The former is just too close both the train tracks and the city water treatment plant for our tastes. On the other hand, 115 Wesley Avenue has a chain link fence blocking it off from a neighboring apartment complex, which we ain’t lovin’, but you can’t beat the price or the city of Beacon, for that matter. It’s a cool river town, as we previously discussed.
