A reader’s on the hunt for thousands of acres of “(somewhat) farmable land for a private, self sustaining Upstate farm/residence.” A few dozen, or even a few hundred, acres, won’t cut it, they say, and they “like the idea of renting out the farmland or partnering up with a pre-existing operation.” So, any suggestions, folks? We know about Catskills Farmlink, which matches those with farmable land to those who wish to farm it. Any other ideas?
