Copake (Columbia County) is a bit of unexplored territory for us. It’s located on the fringes of the Taconic State Park not far from the Massachussets border, and there’s a Metro North station 20 minutes south in Wassaic, which makes it pretty accessible to city folk. And this 2b/2ba house on 3 acres in Copake is, as Goldilocks would say, just right: Simple, light-filled, recently renovated, and affordable. It also looks private.
