SuperTone Music Festival Returns to Hillsdale

  |  July 10, 2017
So many summer music festivals here in the Hudson Valley, but only so much space in our June issue every year to mention them all. But luckily there’s the Daily Dose, where I can alert you to any such events that didn’t make it into our print edition—such as the SuperTone Music Festival, which happens on July 22.The day-long festival, which benefits the Hillsdale Fire Company, hosts country, folk, and indie rock in an intimate, family-friendly setting. This year’s bill has R. Ring (featuring Kelly Deal of the Breeders), Ian Felice, Mail the Horse, Sauerkraut Seth, the Wayside Drifters, J.P. Harris and Chance McCoy, Bat Fangs, Lewis Monroe, John Hatchett, and the long-awaited return of Sasha Pearl plus more. Local food and arts vendors will also be featured throughout the day.

Here, R. Ring perform “Fall Out and Fire”:

The SuperTone Music Festival will take place at Roe-Jan Park in Hillsdale, New York, on July 22 starting at 1pm. Tickets are $35-$48. For more information, call (646) 269-9216 or visit http://www.oldtonemusicfestival.com/supertone/.
