Sweet, Simple Mini-Farmhouse in Chatham, $89,000
Kandy Harris | May 15, 2015Remember WSJ’s Hudson Valley buyer’s guide we posted about yesterday? Chatham was mentioned in the piece, which focused primarily on the luxury market. Well, Old Chatham, to be precise, which is northeast of the hamlet of Chatham. Flourishing luxury market though it may have, Columbia County still has a bargain or two up its sleeve, like this wee Chatham farmhouse. But does it have water views, per this week’s theme? Alas, it does not. What it does have is vintage charm to spare, a recently renovated kitchen and bath, and hardwood floors. We only wish it came with more land. Chatham Center is a sleepy little town on the Kinderhook Creek approximately 2.5 hours from NYC.
3640 Route 66, Chatham (Houlihan Lawrence)
