Here’s one from the “Someone’s Been Reading Our Diaries” files: Hudson Valley Food Tours is offering the chance to eat your way across Ulster County on Saturday, May 28th, and all you have to do is show up and get on the bus. The Rondout Valley Savor/Art & Food Bus Tour will include such delicious stops as Arrowood Farms Brewery, Kelder’s Farm, and the Rail Trail Café situated along the Wallkill Valley Trail Trail.

The tour begins at 11am and ends at 4pm with pick-up and drop-off at the Trailways Bus Station, 400 Washington Street in Kingston. Tickets are $99/adult, $79/children 5-12, and kids under 5 are free. The price not only gets you up close and personal with the people who make the Hudson Valley’s best food (as well as lots of eating, of course), a percentage of ticket sales goes to the Rondout Valley Growers Association, a nonprofit group dedicated to keeping local farming strong.
