What Do You Think about the Sleeve House in Columbia County? It Can be Yours for $2.1 million.

  |  February 2, 2017

Lord knows we love an unusual house. This ultra-modern structure in Columbia County definitely qualifies.

Referred to as the Sleeve House, this home, currently under construction, is a long rectangle with two walls of glass on each end. What sets it apart is that, throughout the length of the house runs another rectangular tube, enclosed from the rest of the house (which is comprised of common areas like LR/K/DR). Inside that enclosed rectangular tube are more rooms, offering privacy from the rest of the home. Scratching your head? Maybe some floor plans will clear things up:

The Sleeve House is slated for completion in early spring 2017. Meanwhile, if you’re intrigued (and we know you are), you can take a look at the architectural renderings in the listing via Gary DiMauro. Includes 2 beds/2.5 baths, 2500 square feet (we’re guessing the inner sleeve doesn’t count against the square footage), soaring cathedral ceilings, and 14.78 acres in southern Columbia County, just east of the Taconic Parkway.
