From Chronogram.com: Metal House Mystique in Ulster County
Kandy Harris | January 4, 2018Explore Zoe Bissell’s Ulster County metal house in the January 2018 issue of Chronogram Magazine!
We don’t know about you, but Chronogram had us at “metal house” in the new year’s first issue of the magazine. Naturally, we had to investigate this metal house further, and now we want you to do the same.
Located in West Hurley in Ulster County, the house in question belongs to sculptor/welder/bread distributor Zoe Bissell and designed by architect Rocio Romera. What we love about this modern abode is that it’s essentially a kit home – rectangular in shape – and prefabricated from steel and glass.
Sound familiar?
But no! Bissell’s home is not a shipping container! Feeling the need to get away from wood for a change, Bissell commissioned the metal kit home to pair with her creative lifestyle. She also shares the home with her partner and daughter.
However, we don’t want to give away the whole story. Find out more about Bissell’s Ulster County metal house kit home, including photos, on Chronogram.com!
