Vacation Rental Crush of the Week: A Treehouse Awaits in Willow, $350/night

  |  January 19, 2017

We dove into AirBnB looking for something different, and this modern take on the secluded Catskills cabin certainly had us picking our jaws up from the floor.

This dreamy little capsule in Ulster County near Woodstock has everything a couple or adventurous loner would want in a getaway: A living room with a wall of glass to gaze out on the swimming pond, a kitchen, spa-like bath, and a loft for sleeping under the stars, which you’ll be able to see thanks to copious skylights. But it’s not just about the basics here. There’s also an additional lounging nook with still more views, hot tub, deck for outdoor dining, and sliding glass doors leading onto a small balcony.

The Willow treehouse accommodates two guests at $325/night on weekdays, $350/night weekends, minimum two night stay. Leave the pets and little kids with sitters and spend the weekend tucked away on a 14-acre property two hours from NYC. Take note: One of the reviews suggested grocery shopping before you get there since Woodstock is 20 minutes away. Here’s what other AirBnB reviewers had to say:

“Amazing house on beautiful property.” – Wesley

“Fresh snow made the treehouse feel quite magical.” – Caitlin

“Hot-tubing under the starry night was a highlight.” – Charley
