Walk to the Rondout from this Kingston Starter Home, $79,900
Kandy Harris | February 12, 2016The exterior of this Rondout Creek two-story home has certainly gotten a facelift since the Streetview was taken:
And that little splash of water in the background is the Rondout Creek in Kingston city. If we were in the market for a starter home, we would be picking up the phone to the realtor posthaste. Not only is this a great neighborhood (note: That does not mean this is a fancy-schamcy neighborhood. This is an historic neighborhood with character close to the creek and the West Strand, a picturesque community packed with restaurants, bars, a marina, waterfront park, the Maritime Museum, etc.), the house has been freshened up with new paint, carpet, and kitchen.
There’s off-street parking enough for two cars, which is convenient given the headache that off-street parking rules in Kingston can be. Taxes were $1600/year in 2014. Worth a look? We sure think so.
