West End Newburgh Cottage for $109,000

  |  March 12, 2012

This little house is located in the West End of the City of Newburgh. Built in 1910 according to the listing, this seems like it might have been a summer home for visitors going to Orange Lake. There are a lot of cute little details. I for one like the original kitchen cabinets that are probably dated around the 50’s. Not everything has to be thrown into a landfill, especially since wood cabinets are not made as they used to be. Just install a new counter top and you instantly change the look of the kitchen.

The house sits on a corner lot on a dead end. Even though there is nobody to your right, the neighbors to your left are really close. That’s the one downside I see. It’s perfect for a small family, and has just enough original detail for those who don’t want to restore an intricate Victorian home. The pictures that were taken are great. See below for details and more.
