The 14th Woodstock Film Festival comes back next week, from October 2-6. Highlights include Bastards of Young, which “details a Halloween party in Manhattan with merciless precision,” and Birth of the Living Dead: “A documentary about the making of Night of the Living Dead.”

Other fun stuff: Mindful Mosaic Women’s Retreat, Catoberfest and The Waterboys.
