Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is hosting a chamber music concert this Thursday, September 14 at 8pm featuring the Manhattan Chamber Players—Siwoo Kim, violin; Grace Park, violin; Molly Carr, viola; Luke Fleming, viola; Michael Katz, cello; and David Fung, piano. The program includes Haydn’s String Quartet No. 25 in C major, Op. 20 no. 2, Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44, and Mozart’s String Quintet in C major, K. 515. Doors open at 7 pm.

Poetry Barn Presents: Five Amazing Emerging Poets

Poetry Barn presents Five Amazing Emerging Poets at the Woodstock Public Library Friday, September 15 at 6:30pm. The event features readings by Ryan Clinesmith, Xandra Selene, Arianna White, and others. Open mic will follow scheduled readings.

GCCA Annual Garden Party in Catskill

Greene County Council on the Arts (GCCA) is hosting its annual Garden Party & Fundraiser event this Saturday, September 16 at 1pm, featuring live music, art auction, culinary treats, artisan wine, and craft beer. Christine & Elliot Spero Duo will perform jazz music from 1 to 3pm. The art auction begins at 3pm and includes works by GCCA members such as ceramicist Susan Beecher, and other local artists.

Also happening this weekend the Bard Orchestra accompanies a screening of Hitchcock’s Vertigo and the Fall 5K and Environmental Fundraiser
