3 Things We Love About this Neat-as-a-Pin Pine Bush Cottage, $225K
Kandy Harris | April 3, 2018
Can you guess our three favorite aspects of this Pine Bush cottage? We won’t keep in you suspense much longer…

We’re still reveling in Yards and Landscaping Week here on Upstater, which brings us to this two-bedroom in western Orange County. We really like it, and here’s why:
1. The Yard
That’s why we’re here, after all. For the $225K price tag, the property includes 2.4 acres of land out in the country. The privacy here is a nice bonus. Nearby neighbors are shielded by trees and a stream. Speaking of which, there’s a stream that runs through the backyard, and the attached deck overlooks it. Also comes with sheds for storage.

2. Living Room Stone Fireplace
No Catskills/Hudson Valley cottage would be complete without a cozy stone fireplace, so check that box. In addition, the 1,044-square foot interior includes vaulted ceilings, stone floors, stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite countertops, skylights, and a set of double doors opening to the streamside deck.

3. Two Bedrooms Awash in Natural Light
Get blackout curtains or get used to waking up with the sun, because you’ll be seeing it cascade through these windows.

It’s not such a bad prospect, getting up with the sun. Especially when you can enjoy your coffee here:
