Eichler-Inspired Liberty Village Mid-Mod, $68,900
Kandy Harris | March 6, 2015
Here’s another five-figure mid-mod in the Catskills, this one in the village of Liberty. We love the Eichler-ness of the exterior, and the interior seems okay if in need of some sprucing up. The house lies more along the lines of a cottage, given its size, but the yard is certainly sufficient at more than a quarter-acre. There’s also a little carport that could be used as a covered seating area. As we’ve said before, five-figure properties are often cash-only. Liberty is a quiet village still in the process of figuring itself out in the midst of economic hard times. We did a write-up about it a couple of years ago, which you can read here. One thing we will say for Liberty, it’s a great place to bargain hunt for property.
