Call it a “Contemporary” if you must, but we still consider this Garrison rental a mid-century modern because it was constructed within the period, albeit late, in 1966. We’ll let the design nerds duke out terminology while we drool over nearly every aspect of this property, from its terraced landscaping and water features to its sleek, clean interior with plenty of light. Although, white carpeting? Seems like you’re playing a losing game with that one. We’d either have to put down those tacky plastic tracks to walk on, or kiss our security deposit goodbye and chalk it up to why we can’t have nice things.
