RoTW: Boiceville Farmhouse, $150/night
Kandy Harris | April 8, 2014We started off in search of $100 a night or less rentals around the Catskills, which we found plenty of. But many were of the smallish cabin variety (not all; just many), and we wondered what we could get for just a little more per night. Turns out, you can get a roomy 3 bed c.1840 farmhouse in Boiceville, Ulster County. What’s nice about this place is that it’s on 5 private acres, and it’s only a 2 minute walk from the bus stop at Bread Alone. It’s also close to the Esopus creek and some swimming holes. Boiceville is up near the northwestern corner of the Ashokan Reservoir, 10 minutes from Phoenicia, 20 minutes from Woodstock, and 25 minutes from Kingston. Oh, and the text under the photos came directly from the Airbnb.com listing.
