Cute Colonial in Quirky Coeymans, $95,000
Kandy Harris | March 27, 2015
The hamlet of Coeymans in southern Albany County is an interesting place. There’s not much in the actual hamlet itself aside from a marina and a nice but small waterfront park, and, quite frankly, Coeymans is a little beat up. The population has dropped in recent years. But that’s not going to stop us from looking at the housing market. This Colonial not far from the waterfront looks promising. Interior and exterior look mostly okay, but it definitely needs a facelift. Includes a second story balcony. Although you can technically walk around the hamlet from this property, you find a whole lot of amenities (we hear it has a farmer’s market, though). Ravena, however, is just down the road a piece and has cafes, shops, and other businesses. The property is bank-owned and is being sold as-is, cash only.
