Beautiful Brick Victorian in Idyllic Beacon, $700,000
Alex Simeoforides | July 23, 2015
This brick beauty in Beacon is the quintessential Victorian. Built in 1867, I imagine there were only the most glorious dinner parties thrown here; afterwards guests reclined on the grass with fine wine overlooking the Hudson. The brick turrets, parquet floors, marble foyer, regal décor, new kitchen, river facing deck, beautiful bathrooms, dark wood trims – tell me when to stop because I won’t. It even comes with a nanny/maids quarters and separate kitchen. If you are going to buy this place, I am now submitting my application as maid. Skills include: occasionally funny and easily pleased. Demanded salary: letting me stay in the house, maybe let me use the master bathroom. It’s even within walking distance of main street Beacon, dia: Beacon, train station and riverfront; about 45 minutes from NYC.
