Spend November @ Storm King Art Center
Storm King Art Center | November 12, 2015Most of the leaves have fallen to the ground, hailing the end of fall and the beginning of winter. There’s still time, however, to visit Storm King Art Center through the rest of the month. From now until November 29th, Storm King outdoor sculpture park will be open Wednesday-Friday, 10am-4:30pm.
Although Storm King will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, the park will be open the day after Thanksgiving and the weekend following. Take your out-of-town holiday visitors or family members to Storm King and show them around the 500-acre open-air museum featuring over 100 works by some of the world’s most acclaimed sculptors.
Storm King admission is $15/adult, $12/Senior Citizens, and $8/ages 5-18 and students. For children 4 & under and Storm King Members, admission is free. Free admission to the park isn’t the only perk to Storm King Membership. While closed to the public after November 29, Storm King offers Members the opportunity to participate in Winter Walks, where they can enjoy behind-the-scenes access to Storm King during the off-season. The 2016 winter walks are scheduled for Saturday January 23, February 20, and March 5, 2016.
