Simona David | November 13, 2015Jervis McEntee at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art
Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art in New Paltz is hosting the exhibit “Jervis McEntee: Painter-Poet of the Hudson River School,” on view through December 13. Although not as famous as other artists affiliated with the Hudson River School, McEntee’s work is equally remarkable. The exhibition at the Dorsky includes works that span over McEntee’s entire career, from his 1850s bucolic landscapes to his impressionists works of the 1880s. The exhibition reveals his creative process from pencil drawings to oil sketches to finished paintings. For more information, visit newpaltz.edu/museum/exhibitions.

Known for tunes such as “The Road Goes on Forever,” Keen has recorded numerous albums, and has toured extensively throughout the United States. For more information, visit bearsvilletheater.com.
