Goshen, NY, is Upstater’s focus this week. The county seat of Orange County since 1798 (before that, it was the “half-shire town of Orange County,” because Rockland County was part of it way back when!), Goshen has evolved into a manicured bedroom community.

It’s just down the block from Limoncello at the Orange Inn: Do take advantage of the happy hour there, to sip elegant cocktails and munch on curated charcuterie on the grounds of an inn where—as legend has it—George Washington himself took his leisure.
