A Beacon Condo in the Heart of the City

  |  April 27, 2025

Wrapping up our week in Beacon (a couple days late), we’d be remiss not to recognize that a lot of inventory in Beacon are apartments, co-ops, and condos.

To that end, we present this three-bedroom, 2.5-bath Beacon condo in the heart of the city. The brick exterior belies the locale’s rough-and-tumble origins.

Remnants of the past remain inside, too, in the form of distressed wood beams and exposed brick in the living/dining/kitchen great room. Pickled-wood flooring and white walls brighten the space, bouncing light from magnificent walls of windows.

With more than 2,000 square feet, there is plenty of space for a family to spread out.

A breakfast bar adds seating for three.

The kitchen itself is a study in black (quartz counters), white (cabinetry and subway-tile backsplashes), and stainless steel (everything else).

Well, not EVERYTHING….The center island is clad in stripey wood and topped with white quartz.

Three bedrooms are roomy and bright.

This one’s doubling as a lounge.

This bath has white fixtures and black-tile flooring.

Gosh, the light that just pours in from those former factory windows….

The second full bath has a black vanity and loads of storage options. Super-high ceilings are a thing here, too.

For fresher air, there’s a brick-faced balcony.

Needless to say, this place is where alllll the happenings happen in Beacon. You can practically see the Hudson Valley Brewery from here, for goodness’ sake. It’s literally a one-minute walk.

So, if you have $1.39 million to spend (oh, we didn’t mention that from the get-go? Our bad.), find out more about 1 East Main Street, Unit 301, Beacon, from Melissa Carlton, Associate Real Estate Broker with Houlihan Lawrence.
