A Hudson Cape on a Cul-de-Sac: $465K

  |  January 16, 2025

Upstater is in Hudson today, at a Cape on a cul-de-sac.

It’s got old-fashioned details—twin dormers, a full-width covered porch—but it was built in 1992. Green shutters complement the cream-toned siding.

Ceiling fans in the porch ceiling bring breezes in even the sultriest weather.

The foyer is traditional, leading straight up the stairs or turning right to the living room.

The light-blue paint here could maybe use a refresh, but the rich flooring is nice.

The kitchen has sliders out to a deck; brown ceramic floor tile; and dark-brown cabiinetry that winds into a U-shape, ending in a two-level breakfast bar. There’s room for a dining table in front of the sliders, too.

This full bath has a molded tub/shower, a granite-like sink on a brown vanity, and a yellow-and-red color scheme.

This bedroom is carpeted in beige and has big windows in its blue walls.

This dormer and walk-in closet are most likely part of the primary bedroom.

We’re unsure if this is the dining room, which the listing says could also be a bedroom.

This large bathroom is on the second floor. It has a marble vanity and a large, walk-in shower with a built-in bench.

This upstairs bedroom has maroon, wall-to-wall carpeting.

The laundry room isn’t huge, but it’s helpful.

This bedroom/office has a dormer with a window seat.

The basement is finished and carpeted.

The house is on a full acre, with plenty of room to play.

A detached, two-car garage is handy for storage of vehicles and everything else.

And there’s also this pretty mountain view.  Situated in the middle of a cul-de-sac, this home is east of the city of Hudson, but still only about 10 minutes to the heart of it (and a drink at Wunderbar Bistro).
