A Pre-Victorian in Rhinebeck: It's in the heart of the village.

This pre-Victorian home in Rhinebeck is a beauty, inside and out.

The wraparound porch will be a delight in midsummer. We imagine the Victorian details may have been added sometime after the home’s initial construction in 1797, or they could be original.

There are two staircases: one in the front of the house, and one in the rear.

This living room is virtually staged, but you can see the fine wood flooring and bumped-out alcove.

Same goes for the family room; that brick column is a nice accent.

The dining room is bright and welcoming (and yes, virtually staged).

The kitchen is updated with stainless-steel appliances, dark counters over light-wood cabinets, and a door to the deck.

A carpeted landing sits at the top of the main stairs.

Three bedrooms and a den are up here.

All are fully carpeted. This room has built-in bookshelves.

There’s a half-bath downstairs and an ensuite bath and hall bath upstairs.

Sunlight streams in through vintage windows.

Is that a terrazzo ceiling? We know, that’s not possible, but it sure looks like it, in this den/possible fourth bedroom.

This bathroom is crisp and clean; we love those wood ledges and the chrome-legged sink.

A bevy of raised beds line up in front of a cute garden shed. The house sits on a third of an acre, just a block away from the village’s downtown. Dinner at Beekman Arms Delamater Inn is a short stroll from here.
