A Sun-Filled Home on a Double Lot in Nyack: $800K

  |  October 22, 2024

The village of Nyack hugs the Hudson River in Rockland County, and is walkable with a nice downtown.

This sun-filled home on a double lot in Nyack checks a lot of boxes for a new homeowner: Solid bones, move-in condition, three bedrooms, one and a half baths.

And it’s got a pretty front porch, to boot. We’d personally replace that front-step railing with something more akin to the yellow-and-white porch railings.

The living room gives traditional vibes, from its lace-curtained front windows to the hardwood flooring to the original side-hall staircase.

A snug dining area doglegs off the living room and sits next to the kitchen.

The kitchen, like most of the house, underwent renovations since the home’s c.1922 birth. But the new owner might still want to update some things…

…especially since there’s enough space for a separate fridge on either end of the room!

The staircase leads to a hallway with what looks like new flooring. A stairlift rail along the wall would be a benefit for those who need it.

The primary bedroom has wall-to-wall carpeting in a shade that complements the beige walls. There are two other bedrooms, plus a full bath, on the second floor, but the listing doesn’t show them. A half-bath is in the partially finished basement.

The house is 1,361 square feet in size, and sits on a 0.13-acre corner lot with a nice-sized side yard.

It’s under a 10-minute walk to Main Street and some sweet or savory pastries at Patisserie Didier Dumas.
