Affordable Victorian Charm in Accord, $199,900
Kandy Harris | March 10, 2015This might be my favorite Victorian of the week. It needs some updating inside (pealing wallpaper, and something has to be done about the fake brick wall behind the wood stove), but all the elements are present to make us seriously crush on it. The interior space is more than sufficient at 1600 square feet, it sits on nearly two acres of land, and it comes with a barn. And how about that kitchen? The biggest negative for us is its proximity to the road. There are hedges, however, to give it a bit of a buffer, and we could be wrong, but something tells us Store Road is not a bustling thoroughfare. Even the property taxes aren’t horrible for Ulster County. Could this be the elusive Goldilocks country property?
