American Foursquare Craftsman in Sullivan County, $99,000
Kandy Harris | December 4, 2015This Foursquare Craftsman (AKA a “Prairie Box,” a style inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie architecture) was built in 1933 and appears to be in tip-top shape. It’s located on Route 52 between the hamlet of White Sulphur Springs and the village of Liberty in Sullivan County (that’s less than 2 hours from NYC for those who find that information important) on a half acre of land and includes a detached garage with a second floor two-bedroom apartment. While the location isn’t terribly private, we can certain appreciate a bargain when we see one, especially one that’s $83/sq. ft. (1200 sq. ft. + 3 beds/1 bath) for a turn-key, well-built home in the Catskills.
Oh, by the way, it’s also neighbors with this very cool market.
3257 Route 52, White Sulphur Springs (American Heritage)
