There’s lots to love about this striking Contemporary in Ancram located on 3 rural acres, including the big picture windows, high ceilings, and that fact that it was built to be energy-efficient (so says the listing). We even like the concrete floors, which, in a lesser house, could come off as cold and institutional, but in this house seem right at home. The kitchen seems to have leapt from the pages of an Ikea catalog, and while some may bristle at this look, it doesn’t bother us much. Pretty mountain views included.
