The quiet village in southern Albany County is where this $95K antique cottage is located. If you love it, fix it up and make it yours. 

And, the good news is, some updates come already included, like new windows and paint. The listing reports that the 1,086-square-foot home has been remodeled, but if you’ve got the knack, it could use some help in the details department. Start with the front porch, which needs a makeover…

…and continue inside with an eye toward upgrading and beautifying the light-filled living room that comes with arched entryways and original (and seemingly gorgeous) hardwood floors.

If you’re dreaming of a chef’s kitchen, you’ll have to handle making one out of this kitchen…

…and, while there are three bedrooms, we only get to see one in the photos, and we don’t get to see much of it.

We can, however, see the big backyard in both the photos and Google Maps, so we know there’s plenty of potential for gardens and some tasteful landscaping here.

As for its neighbors, the Google Map also reveals other sweet, older homes lining the street. If you’re the type to appreciate that sort of thing – along with a slower, quieter overall existence – Coeymans, NY could be just your kind of place. It’s on the west side of the Hudson River, 19 miles north of Catskill village and 14 miles south of Albany.
