Bah Humbug Busters in Saugerties and Kingston…Free of Charge
Upstater Staff | December 19, 2014We were happy to see this Saugerties house get a mention in the local paper. It’s a little secret we’ve known about for years, Jimmy Bruno’s house. Bedecked with thousands of lights and holiday flare of all kind, Bruno’s Bishop’s Gate abode has been drawing in locals and visitors alike, anyone in need of a bit of twinkly cheer to get them through the season. If you’re tooling around Saugerties this weekend, swing by the house at 55 Josephs Drive (GMAP) off Route 9W outside of the village.
Kingston closer to home? Then take a tour of the Loughran House, located at the Senate House Museum in uptown Kingston (GMAP). As certified house nerds, we love taking historic holiday house tours, especially when they involve well-preserved Victorians outfitted in all manner of holiday finery. Tours take place on Saturday, December 20 from 11-3pm, free of charge. More info on Kingston Happenings.
