Okay, so, we’re not quite sure what happened to the floor in this place. Looks like some kind of marbled wall-t0-wall. But don’t let that deter you if you’re interested in the log cabin look. This three-bed, 2.5-bath modern log cabin has beautiful views and 5.7 acres from which to look at them — a pretty good start.

Considering the house’s modest appearance, we’re attributing the price to the geothermal heating, a rather hefty upfront investment that means very, very low heating bills for all your years to come (although we’ve never priced out fixing a geothermal heat pump if they break — any readers know about that?)
